Made from a unique closed cell foam your Cashel cushion will not collapse or absorb moisture and bacteria like open cell foams. It will not retain heat or add weight. The cushions conform to your horse's back and helps to relieve pressure points. It is tapered at the edge to eliminate ridges. Place Cashel pad on a cloth saddle pad and place your saddle right on top. Clean with water. Store flat. Do not place objects on top of your pad when storing. Flat cushion: 3/4" thick are used to prevent and relieve back soreness. Wedge cushion: Gradually increases from 1/2" to 1 1/4" thickness at the back. Provides increased protection over the sensitive back area and will level a saddle on a high withered or slightly sway-backed horse. Reverse wedge: gradually decreases from 1 1/4" at the front to 1/2" at the back. Helps prevent the saddle from sliding forward and well level a saddle that is sitting too low at the front. Lollipop: narrow at the front and 1 1/4" thickness at the back to level out a saddle on a high withered or slightly sway-backed horse without compromising the fit of the saddle at the front.
