Performance Saddle Pads That Also Aid in Correct Saddle Fit!
Shimmable ThinLine saddle pads are of a cotton or sheepskin base. Shims slide into a small opening below the ThinLine and can lift the saddle at the wither, fill behind shoulders, fill in for low backs or sway backs or lift the rear of the saddle for balance. Once your saddle fits perfectly simply remove the shims and keep all the performance benefits of your ThinLine Saddle Pad.
All ThinLine pads on this page are “shimmable”, meaning they have pockets for shims (also referred to as inserts). Use inserts as needed to adjust saddle fit with the consult of a qualified saddle fitter while your horse is growing or changing shape, or to keep your horse comfortable in between flockings or fittings. Shim options for most pads are front, bridging, or rear and are available in two thicknesses: ThinLine (1/4” thick) and Ultra ThinLine (3/16”) thick.
