We ship by Canada Post and Purolator Courier .


By default we will send your item the most economical way without compromising delivery time. Rush delivery is available although the cost for rush delivery might be 2 to 4 times the regular shipping charge. All shipping costs contain handling charges to cover packaging and handling from our location to either Canada Post or a courier outlet.

Some orders because of item size and weight or if you order requires multiple boxes might exceed the shipping costs displayed on your order. In this case we will contact you with shipping and/or price options.

Please note: we cannot ship any supplements or chemicals to any location outside Canada.

Cleaning up my computer today, I realized that I had not sent this note as planned.  In August I drove to S. Ontario to attend a conference in London on Wed. Aug 16th ...and on Friday the 18th, I drive to Bahr Saddlery.
Unable to make an app't in advance for various reasons, I was told when I arrived that I should speak with Geoff Bahr and that he was currently on the phone. 
At the time he was very busy, on the phone for 45 mins ... during which your staff repeatedly offered assistance, but I continued to wait for Geoff.
This note is to express my gratitude to him ... so please pass it on ... for taking the time to speak with me & giving me the benefit of his expertise, since I have been away from the industry/sport for years.
Geoff came flying out of his office, late apparently for a meeting because he had been on the phone for so long ... when I stopped him and asked if he could give me just a few minutes of his time.
He explained that he was late, but when I told him I had driven from Thunder Bay and had my saddles with me ... he graciously followed me to my convertible where I had the saddles in the back seat.
Considering that I did not have an appointment ... and ... it obviously was a very busy day with phone calls and meetings for Geoff ... he was very kind and understanding to take those few minutes
 ..look at my saddles and update me on the market and changes therein.     No doubt this type of customer service is why Bahr continues to be a name a person can trust and count on!

Being on an island we have very little choice for quality tack and I'd exhausted my options locally. I'm so glad I found you online, your trial program was just what I needed. I hope you hear this all the time, and then I thought maybe you don't; I was at Bahr's bright and early Saturday morning looking for an affordable all purpose or dressage saddle. As I struggled with my wither tracing and notes out of nowhere she came "Liz". Like a whorl wind she was pulling out saddles and putting then on the dummy for me to try. Within fifteen minutes she knew what would fit me and my pony. Literally!!! My horse is a 14.2 foundation QH in his late teens and she could tell he should be an occasional use boy based on my seat size and his confirmation. Liz has saved me thousands of hours and dollars by suggesting what saddles I should be watching for in your saddle department.

As I said in the beginning, I hope you hear it all the time what an asset Liz is to the Bahr's family. I know I really learned a lot from her and my pony will be happier for it. P.B. MArch 16, 2015

I  wanted to let you know that today I received the breeches that I ordered from you on Tues. I ordered these same breeches from a local tack store on Nov 1st and Tues was the day they phoned me, after I had been in touch with them several times in the last couple of weeks, to let me know that I could not have them stating that the supplier had or was having inventory.
