The Sprenger Stainless Steel Single Jointed TURNADO Full Cheek Bit features an innovative joint of the mouthpiece that is turned forward by 45 degrees. The contact surface on the tongue is equal on both sides which allows en even distribution of pressure on both tongue edges. Direct transmissionon the tongue and lower jaw occurs because of the fixed mouthpiece. The full cheek lateral contact asssits horses that tend to fall out wile riding or approaching an obstacle. The unique angle is marked by a slightly abrasive surface.

The Sprenger TURNADO bit is different from regular single jointed bits as they offer equal pressure on both sides of the mouth while other single jointed bits create uneven pressure on the edge of the tongue due to one side being longer than the other.
