Farrier’s Finish by Life Data Labs is also a condition that supports the correct hoof capsule moisture content in both excessively wet and dry conditions. This product features Yucca plant extract which binds to ammonia thus reducing harmful effects that this can cause to the hoof.

Farrier’s Finish addresses hoof cracks, old nail holes, and poof hoof wall structure that can allow microbes to invade causing issues with the hoof and addresses bacterial infections such as thrush which are often attributed to wet environments. There are a multitude of products that address these issues on the market today, however they often use harsh chemicals such as formaldehyde, turpentine, pine tar, acetone, which destroy the protective function of the hoof.
