Biotin is one of the three ingredients required to produce a strong hoof. Feeding Biotin alone is insufficient as the three ingredients re required in a certain ratio in order to develop the hoof. Biotin is a water soluble and therefore not stored in the body and must be fed daily along with zinc and Methionine to support hoof growth. Biotin is non toxic even in excess. Biotin 220 supplies 26mg of D-Biotin per 15g scoop.
