The Acavallo Hexagonal Soft Gel Half Pad is dual purpose. It offers both shock absorption and anti-slip properties. This gel pad has a solid hexagonal cell structure that allows air to circulate over the back. The flexible gel works in synergy with your horse’s movement, so it doesn’t restrict the range of motion. This gel pad provides non-slip security with a low profile that maximizes shock absorption while minimizing the bulk under the saddle. Acavallo’s gel is non-toxic and hypoallergenic which will not cause a reaction on the skin. It will also stop any unwanted movement either front to back, or side to side which is a real asset on ‘rounder’ horses. This half pad is shaped to fit the saddle with a slightly thinner depth of gel running down the centre of the pad that allows the gel to sit up in the gullet rather than pushing down on the whither and spine of your horse.
