Total Saddle Fit Stability+ Stirrup Leathers - Dressage

The Total Saddle Fit Stability+ Stirrup Leathers are a refined version of the Total Saddle Fit Stability Stirrup Leather. This version features 3 key improvements. First, they feature a stretch resistant core with calfskin leather wrapped around them for years of reliable use. Second, they reduce bulk under the saddle skit by using a low-profile, newly designed buckle. Finally, by offering a strong base of support against the saddle to improve leg security.

A traditional stirrup leather buckle creates a large bulge under the saddle skirt. This bulge pressed into the rider’s inner thigh, potentially causing discomfort and a wider feeling in the seat and twist. Total Saddle Fit has designed a buckle with a contour to minimize the bulge by allowing the leather to settle into the buckle instead of bulging out. The buckle has been upgraded to a pure 304 stainless steel material to offer additional strength and aesthetic improvement over regular stirrup leather buckles.

In addition to the Italian calfskin and stainless steel logo accent, the entire stirrup leather is webbing to minimize stretch to prolong the life of your leathers.

Both jump and dressage styles can fit on any English saddle, however, the dressage version has an additional 2” of the wide portion to accommodate the longer flap found on a dressage saddle. For best results, you want the entire flap covered by the wide portion of the leathers, which means the black dressage leathers work perfectly on jump saddles, however, the jump leathers may not be suitable for dressage saddles. The Total Saddle Fit Stability+ Stirrup Leathers measure 3” longer than their size for aesthetic purposes.
