Constructed from waterproof, breathable technical softshell material for the body, 900D Polyester side sections, and mesh panels across the chest and shoulder area to promote air circulation and help prevent overheating. Lining at the mane, shoulder and tail flap helps prevent rubbing and supports a healthy coat with wear. The rug includes a detachable, contour-cut liner for extra layering, a detachable hood, dual cross surcingles, a disc front closure for easy, rub-free fastening, and a PVC-covered, wipe-clean tail cord. This trans-seasonal rug uses 0g of fibrefill in the outer shell, with a 100g fibrefill liner included for added warmth.

How to Size Your Horseware Blanket
A well-fitting blanket keeps your horse comfortable and helps prevent rubbing and slipping. Since horses of the same height can vary a lot in build, a quick measurement is the best way to find the right size.
Using a soft measuring tape, start at (A), the center of the chest. Run the tape across the point of the shoulder and along the side of the body to (B), the center of the tail. Then find that measurement on the chart below to see your horse's size. Every horse is different, so treat the chart as a guide. Horseware offers a range of styles to suit all shapes and sizes.

Which Blanket Suits My Horse?
Deep-Shouldered, Wide Build
Choose an XL cut, which is 20% deeper through the neck and sides for extra room. The Optimo styles are another good option, with maximum freedom of movement.
Deep-Shouldered, Narrow Build
Look for a Surefit design with a V-Front closure.
Average Build
A classic neck cut works well. For extra comfort, a V-Front fit is a great choice.
High-Withered, Narrow Build
The Wug helps relieve pressure on the withers.
Very Narrow or Young Horses
