E-Booster contains d-alpha tocopheryl acetate, the naturally occurring form of Vitamin E from vegetable oils, and provides 4,400 IU of Vitamin E per 10 g. It should be fed as recommended by your veterinarian or nutritionist based on your specific needs.

Vitamin E is non-toxic when given in the recommended doses. The National Research Council (NRC) suggests an upper safety limit of 10,000 IU per day.

The NRC's recommended daily allowance (RDA) is 800 IU for a 500 kg horse with light activity, or 1,000 IU for those with heavier use. E-Booster is available as a pellet, with beet fiber as the carrier.

Vitamin E exists in eight forms: alpha-, beta-, gamma-, and delta-tocopherol, and alpha-, beta-, gamma-, and delta-tocotrienol. However, only d-alpha-tocopherol is recognized as meeting human requirements.
