In wet conditions Fiske’s Hoof and Hide Balm works to prevent thrush and treats thrush quickly while conditioning the hoof with oils and beeswax to create a natural barrier to prevent excess moisture from getting into the hoof while still allowing the hoof to breathe. There is no Silicone in Fiske’s Hoof and Hide balm to prevent clogging up. During dry conditions it prevents cracks in the hoof and helps keep the hoof moist. It also increases growth and promotes circulation. Heals abscesses and is an effective liniment. Built in pain relief (wintergreen) helps take out swelling too.
