It allows for effective communication between horse and rider while encouraging relaxation and salivation. The three ring cheek offers the rider with varying levels of leverage and poll pressure depending on the needs of the horse with the lower ring providing the most leverage. Can be used with a single rein, two reins or with pelham roundings.
