The Shires Equestrian Waterford Sweet Iron Loose Ring Bit makes it difficult for the horse to take hold of the bit. The sweet iron mouthpiece is designed to oxidize to produce a sweet taste which helps with bit acceptance. The addition of a copper link encourages additional salivation. The mouthpiece is 18mm thick with 65mm cheeks.
