Sizing Guidelines:
- Small: Front cannon bone circumference 17 - 20 cm (6.5 - 9")
- Medium: Front cannon bone circumference 20 - 23 cm (9 - 10")
- Large: Front cannon bone circumference over 23 cm (over 10")
To select the correct size, measure the circumference of the front cannon bone at its midpoint using a soft measuring tape. Wrap the tape around the leg without pulling it too tightly and compare the measurement to the sizing guide above.
When purchasing hind leg protection, the measurement is typically taken from the front leg, as differences in size between front and hind legs are uncommon.
Protective boots are designed to cover the portion of the tendon most exposed to impact. Boots that extend too high may interfere with the natural flexion of the leg, particularly during jumping, reducing comfort and freedom of movement.
